FLFL 2011 in the Books! - Tuesday, Dec 27, 2011

Carnage Inc completed a clean sweep by winning the Fantasy Super Bowl in convincing fashion as they defeated Well Hung Jury 115 to 52. Rodgers led the way once again as he further solidfied his FLFL MVP status with his 30+ points per game, leaving the Vagilantes to only wonder "What if?"... The Birdmen finished the season strong by racking up high score in our final week and winning the 3rd place game over the Red Bulls 133 to 115. We better watch out next year if Birdman actually likes his team after the draft! In other news, DaWop put together a couple of solid weeks in a row to win the Best of the Rest Tourney, and the Ballhawks ended up winning the 3rd place game of the BOTR Tourney... Over in the Toilet Bowl The Terminators defeated the Bombs in the two-week affair... Great season! I hope everyone has a happy and healthy new year and off-season! Below are the final winnings for 2011:

Jury 40+50+20 = 110

DaWop 20
Vagilantes 10

There's only one week to go and the FLFL Super Bowl is going to feature the conference champs Carnage Inc and Well Hung Jury. Carnage cooled down the red hot Red Bulls 109 to 74 and the Jury defeated the Birdmen 109 to 87. The 3rd place game will feature the Red Bulls vs the Birdmen... In the Best of the Rest Tourney, the Vagilantes used the high score of the week to take down the #1 seed Rockstars, and DaWop defeated the Ballhawks 95 to 90. The BOTR championship will feature the Vagilantes vs DaWop, and the 3rd place game will be the Rockstars vs the Ballhawks... Over in the Toilet Bowl, it was a high scoring week 1 as the Terminators jumped out to a 115 to 109 lead over the Bombs in the 2-week affair... Good luck in the final week and Merry Christmas! ... Playoff Time! - Tuesday, Dec 13, 2011

The regular season is complete and Carnage Inc is the big money winner as they held onto 1st place overall by 17.5 power points even though they got defeated by the Birdmen this week who came up just short and ended up with the Wildcard #1. Well Hung Jury also ended the regular season on a good note as they racked up 140 points to claim the NFLC crown and 2nd place overall. And the Red Bulls dominated for the 2nd week in a row with a 153 point effort to secure the Wildcard #2 as they racked up 140 power points in the final three weeks - talk about a strong finish!! The first round of the Fantasy Super Bowl Playoffs will feature the Red Bulls vs Carnage Inc, and the Birdmen vs Well Hung Jury... In other news, the Rockstars won their final matchup to end up with the #1 seed in the Best of the Rest Tourney, DaWop end up as the #2 seed in the BOTR Tourney, and the Ballhawks end up as the #3 seed. For the 4th and final seed in the BOTR, it gets a little more interesting. The Vagilantes and Terminators both ended up with 343 power points, but since the Vagilantes won the one and only meeting between the two teams this season, they end up as the #4 seed in the BOTR and the Terminators end up as the #1 seed in the Toilet Bowl. The Bombs and their injury-plagued season end up as the #2 seed in the Toilet Bowl... Click here for the FLFL 2011 Playoff Brackets/Results

Week 13 complete! - Wednesday, Dec 7, 2011

Well we are heading into the final week of the regular season, and although the top 3 spots in the FLFL Super Bowl playoffs are pretty much set (Carnage, Birdmen, Jury), there is going to be a wild finish for the final wildcard as it's going to come down to really any one of 5 or 6 teams. DaWop had a solid game this week by racking up 133 points and currently has the 2nd wildcard, but only has a 6.5 power point lead on the Ballhawks and only a 21 power point lead on the 8th place team (Rockstars) so anything can happen! The team to watch out for is the Red Bulls who absolutely dominated in Week 13 (led by Percy Harvin's 8 catches, 175 yards, and 2 TDs) to rack up 50 power points and pull within 9.5 power points of the 2nd wildcard... Carnage won his game this week with 4th high score, and the Birdmen lost their game to fall back to 32.5 power points behind Carnage, but anything can happen as these 2 teams will square off in Week 14... In other news, the Bombs defeated the Jury 103 to 100 in the closest game of the week as Antonio Gates came up just short on Monday night for the Jury. The Bombs still have an outside chance of the 2nd wildcard as they sit 28.5 power points back, and the Jury has pretty much locked up the NFLC crown with a 51 power point lead on DaWop even though these 2 teams will square off in our final week... This week's PITA award goes to the Ballhawks who scored 122 points but lost their game to DaWop... Here are the Week 14 matchups:

Birdmen vs Carnage
DaWop vs Jury
Red Bulls vs Ballhawks
Vagilantes vs Bombs
Rockstars vs Terminators

Here are this week's matchups:

Red Bulls 145 - Birdmen 97
DaWop 133 - Ballhawks 122
Carnage 111 - Rockstars 74
Bombs 103 - Jury 100
Vagilantes 80 - Terminators 65

Remember to check the standings page. Good luck next week!

Week 12 complete! - Tuesday, Nov 29, 2011

Things are definitely getting exciting as the Birdmen soared this week, especially on Monday night to get high score and pull within 14.5 power points of Carnage for the AFLC lead and the overall lead. The Birdmen were led by Drew Brees' 363 yards, 4 passing TDs, 8 rushing yards, and 1 rushing TD for a total of 40.95 points... The Jury bounced back from a few ugly weeks by getting 2nd high score to pretty much lock up the NFLC division crown and an automatic berth into the Fantasy Super Bowl playoffs. It looks like Carnage, the Birdmen, and Jury have secured 3 of those 4 spots... In other news, the Red Bulls, Vagilantes, and Bombs all had solid wins this week to make their case for the 4th and final spot in the Fantasy Super Bowl playoffs. Only 37 power points currently separate teams 4 through 10, so really anybody could get a wildcard with a couple of solid weeks in a row. And similarly, any of the bottom 7 teams could wind up in the Toilet Bowl... Only 2 week's left! Might be time to make your move! This week's PITA award goes to DaWop for getting 5th high score but losing his matchup to the Jury.

Here are this week's matchups:

Birdmen 126 - Rockstars 77
Jury 113 - DaWop 99
Red Bulls 112 - Terminators 96
Vagilantes 108 - Ballhawks 76
Bombs 92 - Carnage 74

Remember to check the standings page. Good luck next week!

Week 11 complete! - Tuesday, Nov 22, 2011

The Ballhawks got their first high score of 2011 by defeating the Bombs 116 to 58 led by Ray Rice's 147 total yards, 5 catches, and 2 TDs. The Ballhawks have now pulled within 4.5 power points of a wildcard and now trail the Jury by 39.5 power points in the NFLC... Carnage is looking pretty unstoppable right now as they had a miraculous come from behind victory to defeat the Red Bulls 114 to 107 as Bowe and Gronkowski combined for 35 points on Monday night. Carnage now has a commanding 49.5 power point lead over the Birdmen for the AFLC crown and the overall lead. Speaking of the Birdmen, they got back on track this week after two losses in a row to defeat the Terminators 112 to 97 as Birdman has a commanding 38.5 power point lead for the Wildcard #1 spot... Also this week, the Rockstars have now won 3 games in a row and 5 of their last 6 as they held onto a 6 point victory over the Jury as superstar Wes Welker could only muster 3 points on Monday night. The Rockstars are now only 1 power point behind a wildcard spot... In other news, DaWop and the Vagilantes had perhaps the most exciting game of the week as DaWop's Tom Brady scored 20.70 points on Monday night to give them a 69.65 to 69.60 victory! To put that in perspective, if Brady has 2 less passing yards on Monday night, the Vagilantes win. Or if any of the Vagilantes RBs or WRs had 1 more yard, they win! Holy cow! That now makes 3 games this season that have been decided by less than one point. Definitely an FLFL record... This week's PITA awards go to both the Vagilantes who lost by 0.05 points, and to the Red Bulls who got 4th high score but lost to Carnage after a huge Monday night comeback.

Here are this week's matchups:

Ballhawks 116 - Bombs 58
Carnage 114 - Red Bulls 107
Birdmen 112 - Terminators 97
Rockstars 100 - Jury 94
DaWop 69.65 - Vagilantes 69.60

Remember to check the standings page. Good luck next week!

Week 10 complete! - Tuesday, Nov 15, 2011

The Bombs got their first high score of the season by defeating division rival DaWop 121 to 100 led by Da '85 Bears D who had 2 TDs, 2 sacks, 4 INTs, and 2 fumble recoveries. The Bombs have pulled within 31.5 power points of a wild card in the exciting Wildcard race where teams 3 through 10 are all literally still in the hunt. The Red Bulls also had a solid week 10 as they destroyed the Ballhawks 108 to 70 and inched closer to a possible wild card... Carnage Inc continued his dominance with his sixth win in a row, this time defeating division rival Birdmen 104 to 90 as Carnage has extended his AFLC lead to 47.5 power points and his overall lead to 30 power points... Also this week, the Rockstars have now won 4 of their last 5 games and are proving to be a contender as they are now only 14 power points back of a wild card... In other news, the Jury also picked up a W with an 85 to 81 victory over the Vagilantes in the closest game of the week. The two games featuring the Vagilantes vs the Jury this season have been decided by a total of only 7 points... This week's PITA award goes to DaWop who got 5th high score but lost to the Bombs.

Here are this week's matchups:

Bombs 121 - DaWop 100
Red Bulls 108 - Ballhawks 70
Carnage 104 - Birdmen 90
Rockstars 101 - Terminators 74
Jury 85 - Vagilantes 81

Remember to check the standings page. Good luck next week!

Week 9 complete! - Tuesday, Nov 8, 2011

Carnage Inc continues his winning ways as he has now rattled off five wins in a row and with high score this week (led by Aaron Rodgers' 247 yards, 4 TDs, and 52 rushing yards) and losses by the Birdmen, Terminators, and Jury, Carnage has extended their lead in the AFLC to 29.5 power points and their overall lead to 20 power points. Also this week, the Rockstars defeated the Red Bulls by getting 2nd high score to pull to within 37 power points of a wildcard. In other news, the Ballhawks held off an insane Monday night attack by the Jury en route to third high score and a 3-point victory, DaWop overcame Birdman's furious 2-player attack on Monday night and held onto a 10-point victory, and the Vagilantes held off the Bombs' tenacious D on Monday night to hold onto a 7-point victory... This week's PITA award goes to the Jury who got 4th high score but lost.

Here are this week's matchups:

Carnage 115 - Terminators 67
Rockstars 114 - Red Bulls 90
Ballhawks 113 - Jury 110
DaWop 100 - Birdmen 90
Vagilantes 96 - Bombs 89

Remember to check the standings page. Good luck next week!

Week 8 complete! - Tuesday, Nov 1, 2011

The Birdmen were cash money once again this week as they are getting hot at the right time and they have now pulled within 3 power points of the overall lead. Carnage Inc also had a great week and not only has jumped atop the AFLC standings but is now the overall leader! The Jury did manage to pick up a W this week but did so with 3rd low score so dropped a bit in the overall standings but still has a 61.5 power point lead over both DaWop and the Ballhawks in the NFLC. Speaking of DaWop and Ballhawks, what a crazy finish to their game against each other this week- DaWop was hanging on to a 5.65 point lead going into Monday Night Football with only Vincent Jackson remaining for the Ballhawks - well VJax didn't amount to jack squat until the 4th quarter when he pulled in a long catch to give the Ballhawks a 0.75 point victory. Crazyness!! In other news, the Bombs got 2nd high score this week with a nice win over the Terminators... This week's PITA award goes to the Rockstars who got 4th high score but lost to the Birdmen... We got a great race in the AFLC as only 8 power points separate the Terminators, Birdmen, and Carnage. And teams that are currently in 5th-9th place are only separated by 13 power points and there is still plenty of season to make your move!

Here are this week's matchups:

Birdmen 122 - Rockstars 102
Bombs 117 - Terminators 100
Carnage 104 - Vagilantes 80
Ballhawks 99.85 - DaWop 99.10
Jury 87 - Red Bulls 62

Remember to check the standings page. Good luck next week!

Week 7 complete! - Tuesday, Oct 25, 2011

The Birdmen were "big tymers" this week as they got high score to pull within 17 power points of the AFLC lead and only 19 power points of the overall lead as the Jury's stranglehold continues to loosen. Birdman got great production out of his Saints combo as Brees had 325 yards and 5 TDs, 2 of them to Colston who also had 7 catches and 98 yards. DaWop also had a nice week by quieting the red-hot Terminators and getting 2nd high score to jump into 2nd place in the NFLC. Even with the poor week, the Terminators are still atop the AFLC (although not by much) and actually gained a little ground on the Jury for the overall lead as they now trail by only 2 power points... Also this week, the Vagilantes had a solid week by racking up 100 points to defeat the ice-cold Ballhawks 100 to 74, and the Rockstars are quietly staying in the mix with another good week as they defeated the Bombs 98 to 93 in the closest game of the week... In other news, Carnage Inc handed Well Hung Jury their 3rd loss in a row to pull within 6 power points of the Terminators in the AFLC, although the Jury still has a whopping 55 power point lead in the NFLC... This week's PITA award goes to the Bombs who not only got 5th high score and lost, but lost Earnest Graham in the 1st half of Sunday's game after a total of only 11 yards to help contribute to the Bombs' 5 point loss to the Rockstars.

Here are this week's matchups:

Birdmen 130 - Red Bulls 85
DaWop 114 - Terminators 70
Vagilantes 100 - Ballhawks 74
Rockstars 98 - Bombs 93
Carnage 92 - Jury 67

Remember to check the standings page. Good luck next week!

Week 6 complete! - Tuesday, Oct 18, 2011

Carnage Inc dominated again this week led by Freddie "Janet" Jackson's 168 yards, 5 catches, and 1 TD which officially makes him the top fantasy RB so far this season (not bad for a 14th round pick!). Carnage has been the hottest team lately and is inching closer to the top of the standings... Also this week, the Bombs finally picked up their first W as they defeated Well Hung Jury 112 to 102 in a high scoring affair. The Jury has now lost 2 straight but still sits atop the NFLC standings with a comfortable 68 power point lead, although the Terminators are now only 4 power points behind the Jury for the overall lead as they won their fourth game in a row... In other news, the Rockstars had a nice game as they defeated the Vagilantes 97 to 70, and the Birdmen had a nice win over the Ballhawks as they held on for a 87 to 85 victory in the closest matchup of the week... This week's PITA award goes to Well Hung Jury for getting 3rd high score but losing to the Bombs.

Here are this week's matchups:

Carnage 134 - DaWop 76
Bombs 112 - Jury 102
Rockstars 97 - Vagilantes 70
Terminators 87 - Red Bulls 63
Birdmen 87 - Ballhawks 85

Remember to check the standings page. Good luck next week!

Week 5 complete! - Tuesday, Oct 11, 2011

The Terminators had their 2nd high score in a row led by Michael Vick's 315 yards, 2 TDs, and 90 rushing yards as they destroyed the Ballhawks 126 to 65. Good thing the FLFL doesn't penalize for interceptions as Vick had a career worst 4 INTs but still got it done in fantasy... Carnage also had a great game as they got 2nd high score for the 2nd week in a row as they defeated the Birdmen 118 to 116 in a very close contest as Birdman's Matt Forte came up just short on Monday Night Football... Also this week, the Red Bulls continued their winning ways with a 106-94 victory over the Rockstars, and DaWop defeated the Bombs 96 to 79 as the Bombs are still looking for their first W... In other news, Well Hung Jury suffered their first defeat of the season as the Vagilantes came out on top 87 to 84. But the Jury still holds a solid 58 power point lead in the NFLC... This week's PITA award goes to the Birdmen who got 3rd high score but lost to Carnage.

Here are this week's matchups:

Terminators 126 - Ballhawks 65
Carnage 118 - Birdmen 116
Red Bulls 106 - Rockstars 94
DaWop 96 - Bombs 79
Vagilantes 87 - Jury 84

Remember to check the standings page. Good luck next week!

Week 4 complete! - Tuesday, Oct 4, 2011

It was a week of close matchups as four of the games were decided by single-digits. The Terminators led the way this week with a late 4th quarter touchdown run on Monday Night Football by LeGarrette Philly Blount to surge past Carnage Inc 128 to 124 en route to high score for the week. But the Terminators' MVP this week goes to Calvin Johnson who had a sick TD catch in triple coverage which contributed to his 8 catches, 96 yards & 2 TDs. The overall MVP this week goes to Carnage Inc's Aaron Rodgers who had the 2nd best game in FLFL history with 408 passing yards & 4 TDs, and 36 rushing yards & 2 rushing TDs for a total of 52 points! Michael Vick had a 52.65 point total one week last year for the highest scoring game ever... The Ballhawks also had a solid week 4 with a convincing 118 to 91 victory over the Bombs, as the preseason #1 ranked Bombs are still looking to pick up their first W. Man my crystal ball must have been off this year - the season is still young though!! In other news, the Jury continued their winning ways as they won a close matchup versus the Birdmen 104 to 97, and the Red Bulls had a nice 99 to 91 victory over the Vagilantes. Also this week, the Rockstars held on for their first victory of the season by defeating DaWop 96-95 as DaWop's Mike Williams came up just short on Monday Night Football... This week's PITA award goes to Carnage who racked up 124 points but lost to the Terminators in a heartbreaker.

Here are this week's matchups:

Terminators 128 - Carnage 124
Ballhawks 118 - Bombs 91
Jury 104 - Birdmen 97
Red Bulls 99 - Vagilantes 91
Rockstars 96 - DaWop 95

Remember to check the standings page. Good luck next week!

Week 3 complete! - Tuesday, Sept 27, 2011

The Jury just keeps on rolling as they got high score for the third time in a row to kick off the 2011 season and are looking to break all kinds of FLFL scoring records. Wes Welker led the Jury in Week 3 with 24 catches, 398 yards, and 5 TDs to defeat the Ballhawks 132 to 79. OK, so maybe he didn't have that great of a game but it sure seemed like it, especially to me as the Jury's opponent as I got bitch-slapped with nine inches of well-hung limp up and down the field. Welker is definitely looking like the steal of the draft. By the way, the Jury did all of this with Romo and Austin (Week 2's MVPs) on his bench. The Birdmen are next in line to try and slow down the Jury who remains the only undefeated team after 3 weeks... DaWop got their first W of the season this week in convincing fashion as they defeated the Red Bulls 122 to 87. Tom Brady is looking like the early favorite for FLFL MVP as he amassed 387 yards and 4 TDs... Also this week, the Terminators bounced back with a big win over the Birdmen to soar to the top of the AFLC standings... In other news, the Vagilantes continued their streak of close matchups this week, this one the closest by far, as they defeated the Bombs by 0.55 points 96.70 to 96.15!! Holy cow! To put that in perspective, all the Bombs needed were 6 more rushing yards from one of their RBs, or even one more catch for one yard would have done the trick. Crazy! This week's obvious PITA award goes to the Bombs for losing by 6 yards, but I'm also going to give an honorary PITA award this week to Carnage Inc who, although they won their game, got some bad advice on who their starting RBs should be (sorry Dustin, Ballhawk says shamefully) as they only scored 8.1 points for Carnage as Freddy Jackson and his 24.6 points sat on the bench. You were right Dustin - go with your gut!

Here are this week's matchups:

Jury 132 - Ballhawks 79
DaWop 122 - Red Bulls 87
Terminators 96 - Birdmen 72
Vagilantes 96.70 - Bombs 96.15
Carnage 94 - Rockstars 82

Remember to check the standings page. Good luck next week!

Week 2 complete! - Tuesday, Sept 20, 2011

This was one of the highest scoring weeks we've ever had as 8 of our 10 teams scored over 100 points, and six teams scored 114 or above!! Well Hung Jury continued their dominance in Week 2 by scoring 155 points led by the Tony Romo to Miles Austin combo - Austin statistically was the Jury's MVP this week as he racked up 9 catches for 143 yards and 3 TDs. The Jury has the best team output ever after two weeks with a team average of 155.5 points. Romo and Austin both got dinged up though this week so the Jury will have to pull some strings to keep the streak going. The Birdmen also had a dominating performance this week by racking up 146 points as Birdman is already proving his last place prediction was a mistake... Also this week, the Ballhawks got 3rd high score for the 2nd week in a row as they defeated the Rockstars 122 to 106 in a relatively close contest, and Carnage Inc won their first game in convincing fashion as they slammed the Red Bulls 119 to 64 as Nick & Sheldon may have lost their first round pick Jamaal Charles for the season. In other news, the Vagilantes were once again involved in the closest game of the week but this time they came out on top as they defeated DaWop 114 to 102... This week's PITA award goes to the Terminators for getting 5th high score but running into the Jury buzzsaw.

Here are this week's matchups:

Jury 155 - Terminators 116
Birdmen 146 - Bombs 93
Ballhawks 122 - Rockstars 106
Carnage 119 - Red Bulls 64
Vagilantes 114 - DaWop 102

Remember to check the standings page. Good luck next week!

Week 1 complete! - Tuesday, Sept 13, 2011

What an exciting start to the 2011 season as there was no points-based PITA winner as the top 5 scoring teams all won their respective games. Well Hung Jury led the way with a whopping 156 points led by Wes Welker's 8 catches, 160 yards and 2 TDs as the Jury defeated DaWop even though Jeff had the fantasy stud of the week Tom Brady with his unbelievable 517 yards and 4 TDs. The Terminators also had a great start to the season as they racked up 120 points to take down the Rockstars 120 to 80 with some great production out of Calvin Johnson and Kenny Britt... Also this week, the Ballhawks came back from an early deficit to defeat Carnage Inc even with the FLFL #8 pick Aaron Rodgers (not the #9 pick) having a great game for Carnage on Thursday night. In other news, the Red Bulls used a nice balanced effort to defeat the preseason favorite Bombs 108 to 86, and the Birdmen got over half their production from two players as they beat the Vagilantes 106 to 93 in the closest game of the week... This week's PITA award goes to both DaWop and the Bombs. DaWop's #1 pick overall Arian Foster sat out this week's game, and DaWop's last minute Foster replacement Lee Evans didn't even register a catch. Should have just left Foster in the lineup! Also, the Bombs expectedly had Steve Smith on his bench as he racked up 8 catches, 178 yards, and 2 TDs - a bad thing this week but a good thing if this is a sign of things to come. Will Steve Smith return to former stud status now that Cam is throwing to him??

Here are this week's matchups:

Jury 156 - DaWop 85
Terminators 120 - Rockstars 80
Ballhawks 114 - Carnage 78
Red Bulls 108 - Bombs 86
Birdmen 106 - Vagilantes 93

Remember to check the standings page. Good luck next week!

2011 FLFL Predictions - Monday, September 5, 2011

NFLC

1. Bombs - Wow the Bombs look pretty deadly this year. Start things off with the #1 wide receiver Andre Johnson, follow that up with last year's #1 pick Chris Johnson (who happened to sign a few days after the FLFL draft and is going to get a full workload in Week 1), then add a former first round pick Steven Jackson and a few receivers with upside in Anquan Boldin and Mario Manningham and WATCH OUT! The only question mark is at QB as Peyton Manning (also a former first round pick) is still recovering from a neck injury. Oh, what's that you say?? Manning is hurt? Well just plug in the Bombs' steal-of-an-8th round pick Matt Schaub and you got yourself the Schaub to Andre combo!! Ring the bell!!

2. Well Hung Jury - matthewohre is the winner of the 2011 Toyota Best Draft Award which is awarded to the team in our league with the most projected season points (see our Yahoo site on the right side of the page), and I definitely agree that the Jury drafted a fantastic squad. I'm guessing though that the award was given before Chris Johnson signed his contract as the Bombs just look too damn tough this year. The Jury should be in the hunt though led by the Romo to Austin combo (ring the bell!!), LeSean McCoy, Darren McFadden, Reggie Wayne, and Wes Welker. Expect a dominating performance by the J-J-J-Jury! this year!

3. Vagilantes [vaj-uh-lan-tees] - noun
        1. members of a vagilance committee
        2. any people who take the law into their own hands, as by avenging a
crime & focusing primarily on hunting V...
Probably the biggest buzzkill of the draft was Dustin nabbing Aaron Rodgers one pick before Adam was about to select his coveted QB; but Adam kept a positive attitude and made his "celebration" probably even more funny than if he actually landed Rodgers. Predicting the Vagilantes to finish 3rd in this division might be a mistake as Adam drafted a very solid squad with alot of upside. Yet another QB-WR combo in this division (Ring the bell!!) as the Vagilantes probably have the most exciting one in Ryan to Roddy White. Also on this squad is underrated Peyton Hillis (look at his numbers from last year!), Greg Jennings, Stevie Johnson, and Plaxico Burress. The only problem is that a primarily run-and-shoot squad has never won the FLFL, but Adam is looking to break that streak this season.

4. DaWop - DaWop actually is not as bad as his 4th place prediction might indicate; this simply looks to be a very tough division. Jeff has the 2010 #1 fantasy producer in Arian Foster, although he is battling a nagging hamstring injury but says he'll be fine. DaWop also has a stud QB in Tom Brady, and a solid receiving corps in Mike Wallace, Mike Williams, and Jermichael Finley. So I guess the more you look at DaWop the better this team looks, and I suppose I just really like the three teams I ranked ahead of him. One question on this team is whether Shonn Greene can score more than 2 TDs this season???

5. Ballhawks - As always, I drafted a high-risk high-reward team that will either be near the very top or very bottom of the standings. As I look over my team, again there's just too much risk, and my depth is pretty awful. Ray Rice had an off-year last year and I am banking alot on him bouncing back. Hakeem Nicks should be solid again, but my other two WRs Vincent Jackson and Brandon Marshall have been disappointments lately and have battled off-season problems. Also my 2nd RB will be either Felix Jones or Beanie Wells, both of whom could be huge busts this season (careful opening that video at work). And Big Ben at QB is looking pretty risky this season as that Steeler O-line looks awful.

AFLC

1. Red Bulls - I changed the predictions in the AFLC about 10 times before settling on this order... The Red Bulls just seem to have more play makers than the rest of the teams in the AFLC. The Jamaal Charles & Jones-Drew RB combo should be one of the best in the league, and the Red Bulls managed to draft some of the most exciting young WRs in the league in DeSean Jackson, Dez Bryant, and Percy Harvin. The question mark lies at QB as Eli Manning hasn't looked too great this preseason but had outstanding numbers last year. I predict a bounce-back year for the Red Bulls.

2. Rockstars - The Rockstars may have "reached" on a few players, but you gotta respect a man who takes the player he likes and doesn't strictly follow the conventional "expert rankings". I like the Larry Fitzgerald pick in the first round, as Fitz's numbers were pretty good last season even with bums throwing to him, and he will have a good QB throwing to him once again this season. Rivers is a solid and steady QB and looks to improve on his already studly numbers as he has his big dog WR back in action this season. Gore was a former first round pick and hopes to bounce back from last season's injury, and Brandon Lloyd & Ahmad Bradshaw both look to prove last year's domination wasn't a fluke. If those things happen and Santonio Holmes can bounce back to 2009 production, the Rockstars will easily win this division.

3. Terminators - Boogs went with a high risk high reward squad this year, so I figured a 3rd place prediction would be right in the middle and cover both bases. The Terminators started off with Michael Vick and Calvin Johnson, two players who should carry this team week in and week out. Blount and Mathews are young RBs both looking to have breakout years, and Kenny Britt is looking to stay out of trouble this season and live up to his potential. Whatever WR emerges in SF (Braylon Edwards or Crabtree) should be the Terminators' 3rd WR and produce some decent numbers. But don't look past the Terminators this year, as they could go off any given week.

4. Carnage, Inc. - Again, I changed the predictions a bunch in this division and actually even had Carnage at #1 for a few moments... Carnage may have contributed to one of the funniest moments at the draft by nabbing Rodgers one pick before Adam, but he actually put together a nice team. Rodgers will carry this team, and although his 2 RBs (Mendenhall and Turner) don't get too many receptions, both are TD vultures so that should balance itself out just fine. Carnage's WRs will need to prove themselves though as Bowe and Ochocinco will look to repeat past successes, and Johnny Knox will look to have his first great fantasy season as a pro.

5. Birdmen - "I don't like my team" is what everyone heard as Birdman pondered his final couple players, and if David looks to "tweet-peat" this year he'll first need to overcome a few health concerns. Birdman's first three rounds went great as he nabbed Adrian Peterson, Matt Forte, and Drew Brees, and he followed those picks up with Marques Colston (ring the bell!), Jeremy Maclin, and Mike Thomas. It sounds as if Colston's knee issues might be worse than originally expected, and Maclin's strange "illness" and loss of 15 pounds might also be a concern. But if the Birdmen's receivers shake off these concerns and have decent seasons, then watch out! Bddddddddddddda!
