Fantasy Power Points:
This league is won by scoring the most Fantasy Power Points. Power Points are earned as follows:
Win = 10 Fantasy Power Points
Hi score = 15 Fantasy Power Points
2nd high = 13
3rd high = 11
4th high = 9
5th high = 7
6th high = 5
7th high = 4
8th high = 3
9th high = 2
10th high = 1
Every 5 Team Points after 20 = 1 Fantasy Power Point.
*The formula is: (Team Points - 20) / 5 = # of Fantasy Power Points
For example, 25 Team Points would be 1 Power Point, 51 would be 6, 109 would be 17...
So, if you beat your opponent one week, had the 5th highest score that week, and scored 77 points, you would get:
10 + 7 + 11 = 28 Fantasy Power Points for that week.

Other Rules & Info:
DRAFT/LOTTERY & PRESEASON RESPONSIBILITIES
1.1 - The draft will be a standard serpentine structure: 1-10, 10-1, etc.
1.2 - You may trade DRAFT POSITIONS with another team, meaning you move to their slot for the ENTIRE DRAFT. Trading
draft slots must be done by the start of the draft.
1.3 - All entry fees are due by draft day!
1.4 - All owners must communicate to the commish AT LEAST ONE WEEK BEFORE THE LOTTERY that they are going to be in the
league and that they are OK with the draft date/time. If an owner does not comply, his spot in the FLFL will be given to a
new owner.
1.5 - All owners must have internet access throughout the entire season, and must sign up their team in YAHOO within 1
day after completion of the lottery.
1.6 - There will be no computers of any kind allowed at the draft.
LINEUPS
2.1 - Lineups must be turned in to YAHOO by the first NFL game of each week. You may switch your lineup as long as
neither player's game has started yet.
2.2 - If for some reason you do not have Internet access on a given week (or YAHOO is down) and you wish to switch
your lineup, you must call it in to DOUG. If I'm not home leave it on my machine/voice mail.
TRANSACTIONS
3.1 - Transactions are FREE, and you are allowed a maximum of 13 DROPS/PICKUPS on the season. You are allowed an
unlimited number of TRADES (with other owners).
3.2 - The trade deadline is the end of Monday Night Football of the 10th week, and there is no Drop/Pickup deadline.
3.3 - After the trade deadline, you may not pick up any player that was on a roster (for 7 or more days) after the trade deadline.
3.4 - If you trade away a player, you must wait 4 weeks before you reacquire that player.
3.5 - Free agents go to the first team to make the transaction ON YAHOO.
3.6 - Trades must involve the same number of players by each team involved, and all teams must have legitimate rosters
immediately following the completion of the trade.
3.7 - All trades will be approved by the commissioner, as long as both coaches involved feel their teams are
improving. Also see rules 3.2, 3.4, and 5.1.
3.8 - Transactions are first come first serve until the season starts... Once the season starts, transactions are still first come first serve, but you can get "trumped" by an owner whose player got hurt on Sunday or Monday. Basically, it's first come first serve for transactions, but if one of your players gets injured on Sunday or Monday (and doesn't return), you have first dibbs on THAT INJURED PLAYER'S BACKUP before Monday late night. If one of your guys gets hurt and another owner picked up the injured player's backup during the "trump period", simply POST A MESSAGE ON THE FORUM BEFORE MONDAY AT 11:59:59PM that you want to pick up that player and who you want to drop. You may pick up the new player for any of your players which would keep your roster valid. NOTE: If somebody already owned your injured player's backup before his NFL game started, then said owner gets to keep him.
ADDITIONAL RULES
4.1 - In the event of a tie of a regular season game, both teams receive 5 Fantasy Power Points for the win, and split
the Fantasy Power Points for hi score (note: your team's total week points are rounded down to the nearest whole number for practical purposes and for power points weekly ranking, but a team with a higher decimal score wins the tie-breaker for "win points" for teams facing eachother).
4.2 - In the event of a tie of a playoff game, the winner will be the higher seeded team (home-field advantage
rule; again, if a team has a higher decimal score he wins the tie-breaker).
4.3 - If more than 1 team has the same Fantasy Power Points at the end of the regular season, the higher seed for
playoffs will be the team with more Fantasy Power Points in those weeks that the teams faced eachother. If there is still a
discrepancy, a coin toss will be used. Note that prizes will be split by teams with the same Fantasy Power Points at the end
of the regular season.
4.4 - The Defensive Team that you start on your squad will receive points for all INTs, Sacks, Fumble Recoveries, and
Safeties (see "Team Points" section above) that the NFL records for its official stats. However, you will only get credit for
Defensive TDs that your defensive team records while it is on defense at the time the ball is snapped during the play, or on
the kickoff team during a kickoff. You do NOT get credit for a punt return TD, because once the returner fielded the ball
(beyond the original Line of Scrimmage), your D became the return team. But, if your Defense blocks a punt (and the ball
never goes beyond the original LOS) and returns it for a TD, you DO get credit for that because your D was still on the field
at the time of the block, and they never became the return team. Note that you may protest a week's Fantasy Power Points if
this situation should occur. See 4.5 and 4.6.
4.5 - All Fantasy Power Points disputes for a week must be made before the next week starts.
4.6 - If you are protesting the previous week's Fantasy Power Points because of a statistical error or correction, you
must find the correct/fixed stat on both NFL.com AND THREE OTHER MAJOR STAT SITES before the next week starts.
4.7 - If an NFL game is postponed for any reason, that week's Fantasy Power Points & game totals will not be
calculated until the game is played/made-up. If the NFL game is cancelled or does not occur at least 2 DAYS BEFORE THE FIRST
WEEK OF FLFL PLAYOFFS, then all players in that game receive zeros. If this situation occurs in the FLFL Playoffs, the game
must be played before the next week starts, otherwise all players will receive zeros.
4.8 - If a player is in a lineup illegally for any reason (player was picked up after transaction deadline, trade
violation rule, too many players at that position on roster, etc), that player will score zero points and rosters will be
reverted back to before the illegal move(s) was made. If a different "indirect" team gets "screwed" because they acquired
(and started) a player that was dropped illegally, the commish will insert into that team's lineup the player from the
previous week (at that position) who scored the most points (and is not already in the lineup) and is not on bye. If there is
no such player, that team will receive zero for that player.
4.9 - Week 14 Schedule: 1 vs 2 in each division, 3 vs 3, 4 vs 5 in each division.
COLLUSION/RULES
5.1 - All owners must play in a fair manner - i.e. no collusion; no trading players or draft slots for cash or items
or anything not related to fantasy football; you must play what you feel is your best lineup each week, etc. Anyone caught
colluding will be banished from the FLFL and will lose out on winnings for the current year.
5.2 - The commissioner has the right to change/update or add any rules that he sees necessary to keep the league fun
and running smoothly.
PLAYOFFS
6.1 - Playoff structure: FLFL Super Bowl = Week 15 - Division Champ (most Fantasy
Power Points) VS Wild Card #2, Division Champ VS Wild Card #1. Week 16 - Winner VS Winner of week 15, 3rd place game features
two losers of Week 15 games.
6.2 - Playoff structure: Best of the Rest Tourney = Week 15 - Seed #1 (next most
Fantasy Power Points) VS Seed #4, Seed #2 VS Seed #3. Week 16 - Winner VS Winner of week 15, 3rd place game features two
losers of Week 15 games.
6.3 - Toilet Bowl: Week 15 & 16 (average/combined score) - Last Place VS 2nd to Last
Place
